What are HD Brows?

This is a tailored procedure that transforms unruly, sparse or over-plucked brows into perfect brows. The treatment takes between 30-45 minutes, the HD Brows experience features tinting, waxing and threading. Sometimes you will not achieve your ideal brow shape from one treatment, this could be because you have over plucked your brows, or maybe have fewer hairs in the places you need them.

Every treatment is tailored to your needs to create a bespoke brow to suit your facial structure. If you have sparse areas or not sure how to style your brows at home, at the end of the treatment I use eyebrow powder and pencils from the HD Brows makeup range to show you everything you need to know. No one wants to come out looking like they have ‘slugs’ or ‘scouse brows’

Some celebrities that love HD Brows are The Saturdays, Emeli Sandé, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, to name but a few.

HD Brows is an amazing treatment and can change your facial shape, brows are so important to the structure of your face so why not make sure you have great ones.

What is LVL Lash lift?

LVL stands for Length, Volume and Lift, the effects of the treatment cam last 6-8weeks depending on your lash cycle.

LVL works by straightening the natural eyelash at the root, creating the appearance of longer, thicker lashes. it is finished by an added tint at the end of the treatment providing instant results that opens up the eye.

It is applied to the natural lash, LVL Enhance is ideal for customers who are new to eyelash treatments, or those looking for an everyday lash enhancement with no maintenance.

What is the difference between the Nouveau Eyelash extensions?
The ‘Classic’ Individual Eyelash Extensions are synthetic lashes that are glued on 1:1 on every single eyelash. They are very natural looking as you can hardly see the attachment from the synthetic lash to the natural lash.

There are approximately 50-100 lashes on each eye, so the full procedure can take between 1hr 15 – 1hr 30, the lashes will fall out naturally just like your own and will need an infill every 2-3 weeks depending on your lash cycle.

A recommended break is advised every so often, as the lashes need to be fully hydrated and have a rest every so often (breaks depend from person to person)

The ‘Russian Volume’ Lashes are a more fuller but fluffy look and last longer than Classic 1:1 eyelash techniques as the feather light lashes used do not weigh down the natural lash and the amount of eyelash extensions that can be applied.

The look is tailored to suit each individual, you can choose from a more natural to dramatic look. Sarah will assess your lashes and then apply 2+ lashes to each of your own individual lashes to create an intense, stunning effect without a heavy look.

The lashes will fall out naturally just like your own, these lashes can last longer and are recommended to have infill’s between 3-4 weeks.

Who can have Eyelash Extensions?

Nearly anyone! As they are very natural looking lashes and are amazing for any occasion from weddings, holidays and parties to normal day to day life.

Individual Eyelash Extensions can make life substantially easier especially in the mornings. A lot of my clients that struggle with mascara love these, as they don’t have to worry about putting anything on. They don’t ruin your natural lashes, just as long as you don’t pull them out!

Do eyelash extensions damage my own natural lashes?

During your appointment Sarah will assess your natural lashes as well as the length and health of your own lashes, this will then determine the weight, curl and length she will use. Lashes that are too long or two heavy can put strain on the natural lashes so it is important to not strain the natural lash. Aftercare is very important, how you treat your lashes after the treatment is vital to healthy lashes and the extensions lasting longer.

How long do lash extensions last?

Lash extensions when looked after properly can last 4-8 weeks, BUT with the natural process of your own lashes shedding along with every day wear & tear.

We recommend infill’s every

2 to 3 weeks for the ‘Classic’ Lashes

3 to 4 weeks for the ‘Russian Volume’ Lashes

Infill’s are to stop your extensions becoming sparse and keep your chosen style looking perfect.

You need to be very aware that your lash extensions are very delicate so extra care must be taken to avoid your extensions falling out prematurely.
Any oil base products including makeup removers, creams etc should be avoided on the lashes
Do not rub, over touch or pick your lashes. Keep away from very hot water and facial steamers, do not use eyelash curlers.

Permanent Makeup

What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent Makeup is a type of cosmetic tattooing, It is also known as micropigmentation, cosmetic tattooing or Semi-permanent Makeup.

The healed pigmentation resembles makeup and can look very natural. This treatment is available for the eyes, brows, and lips.

What's the difference between Permanent and Semi-Permanent Makeup?

Permanent and Semi Permanent tattoos are technically the same, as any form of tattooing is permanent, it is also known as micropigmentation or cosmetic tattooing. Permanent Makeup is more delicate and the pigment doesn’t travel as deep into the skin as ordinary body tattoo so they do need retouching every 12-18months to they keep looking fresh.

It is important that you take good care of your tattoos for example, trying to keep out of the sun as constant/excessive sun exposure due to the UV rays will result in the pigment fading much faster, meaning more top up procedures will be required to maintain freshness of the pigment.

Does the treatment hurt?

It mostly depends on your pain threshold, and can sometimes be more sensitive if your body is going through its monthly cycle (ladies)

Some will say it feels ‘scratchy’, and it can feel a little tender at the end of the treatment.

How long will they last?

The pigment is inserted into the shallow layer of the skin known as the epidermis. This means it can fade a little quicker than traditional body tattoos, so a yearly top up is recommended.

Top ups are advised approximately every 12 months to keep the pigment looking fresh. But every skin type is different and some will hold the pigment longer and better than others.

Other factors that can cause the pigment to fade faster is the over exposure of UV rays.
